I'm not sure if I said it before but I WANT THE CHIMES BACK. The chimes that used to play when you'd launch a game that is to say before the slim ps3 came out. ah yes, I don't know what it is but I (and many others), used to get some sort of satisfaction from it. Before the the slim came out, on the fatter, older and superior plastation 3's , Before a game would start, PLAYSTATION 3 Would come across the screen and would be accompanied by the chimes. This logo and the chimes were certainly part of the playstatons branding and shold continue to be so. Now when the playstation is started, I get this horrible wishy-washy type PS3 logo, with a new boot sound. "Sony computer entertainment" is no longer displayed. Also another thing changed when i downloaded the compulsory update when the slim came out was that all of these distracting sparkles emerged on the theme (Without any input from me) but thankfully it is possible to rectify this and revert back to the old theme. However, sparkles still annoyingly appear on my screen upon start up the machine. What I want is to rectify the other mistakes (in my opinion) made by the slim update. That is, a way to display "PLAYSTATION 3" when starting a game and also to get the orginal start up display and sound.
