I want to have for the v2.0 update:
1) Background picture like on psp
2) Be able to use psp as a screen
3) More video codecs eg. wmv, xvid, avi

and can anybody tell me if there is a windows xp OS for ps3 online?

For # 2, its called Remote Play

And no, there isnt a Windows XP OS for PS3, although you can emulate it from Linux
