also make sure that ideas have to be approved before they are shown on the website, as otherwise the duplicate error just messes it up again lol

I am actually aware that the design isn't very "PlayStation" right now. I did have a skin before that looked exactly as the forums but since I am trying to pitch the idea as something different than a forum it had to go, besides the gray look isn't very nice in my opinion. But I am trying to make the website look better with every update. I am actually planning on releasing a theme feature before christmas if there's time.

And for having to approve ideas I think I have a different approach. First you have votes, so good ideas automatically get more exposure. And duplicates are a thing of the past since I have a feature to mark ideas as duplicates, which will filter out duplicates (just showing one idea instead of 10 similar ideas) as well as combining votes and comments made for ideas that are duplicates.

 

But please, if you have more cool ideas (either for the PlayStation or the website) just post them on the website.

Having had 2 referb 60g PS3s and having just bought a slim I would love it if you had the ability to sort by name in your previously downloaded games, that would make it so much easier to go through and download all the DLC from the store rather than having to scroll up and down a crazy big list of stuff.

Or am I being a bit simple, is there another way to do this?

2. Adding some "really" PsOne Classics; Tekken 1, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Resident Evil, Jackie Chan's Stuntmaster, Nightmare Creatures, Chessmaster, Ninja Shadow of Darkness on SCEE PSN. (so we could call it "PsOne Classics"!)

How about the option to remove games from the trophies list? I purchased a game and thought it wasn't very good and since sold it. Now however I have the nightmare of browsing though my trophies and seeing a game that shouldn't be on there!

Firefox and Facebook are great additions to playstation's strength. Now how about getting skype on there which also acts as voice crossover whilst playing games or watching a movie? Think of all the pc users who have skype... digs a little at windows base too.

To pay for the skype service, allow them to create small ads which sit in their panel. Sony saves money, yet accesses larger user base.

Few simple things I want.

1. Ability to change the font size
2. Wish there was a User avatar that matched in with the themes.
3. Friends list to be sorted into groups
4. More colours for the background
5. More fonts
6. Ability to create folders without having to rename the album
7. I wish the Gamercard would say how many trophies you have out of the total amount you can get. eg. 43/50.

11. Oh and I wish the folders on the game section were a little cleaner looking. If we had folders pre set for "Demo's" "Downloaded Games" PS Classics" this would look much tidier. Atm it's just the logo in an ugly looking box.
12. Wish the trophies auto sync'd every time the PSN turned on. Would just be a simple thing to do realy. And makes sense. I have alot of friends who don't even bother syncing the trophies as they don't understand them.
13. Wish the contact on the friends list just showed trophy total and level next to the name. Would just give people more of a reason to have a level. Maybe even get rewarded for the level you are. We know that leveling works well, just look at COD!!!

I know half of these won't come into play and that sony will probably just give us a new way of displaying photo's or some other crazy media function that won't be used. But still some are so so simple and should have been done a long time ago. AVATARS cough cough*

Dear GOD, or Sony - whoever is the hgher power

Please can you improve the backup/copy function for Saved Game Data - I have a family of four, we all play different games at different times and its a complete nightmare for me to keep the right game saves backed up because I can only select them individually.

I know I can do a total system backup, but this is too large and time consuming to do very often.

Please can I have an option to just click on SavedGameData and backup/copy them all to external storage - I would love you forever.

Oh and the addition of Skype support if you have a little more spare time would be just great - thanks.

I think it would be useful if you could change between PSN profiles without quiting a game, I live with 2 of my friends and we all have PSN ID's so we can have our own stats/trophies. But if were playing an online game like PES or MW2 we take turns, if we want our own stats we have to restart the game & change PSN profile (very time consuming IMO)!!!

In the meantime we have set up a 4th account that we use when we are all playing online together, problem being we all like to have our own stats/trophies. If you could change PSN from within game it would be great for people in similar cirumstances such as 'Families' who all like to play Playstation and would all like their own stats/trophies on games.
