Well here is a King Of The Hill theme i did. My wife is a big fan of the show and she wanted a PS3 theme so bad that i decided to knock one up. I was not going to release this, but what the hell. Anyway hope some of you enjoy it as much as the wife does. There is a Blue one plus a Pink version

 'Create new video' it seems can't be changed  (does not change in AIR PAINT theme - though video/music albums don't change in AIR PAINT theme either so who knows for sure).

Since the "air Paint" theme was made a few new icons and support has been added. For older themes it just defaults to the system icon if it can't find a replacement.

You're correct in that there is currently no support for the "create new video" to be edited.

Yes it is possible. The tools for theme creation are widely available. go here for the download, it includes a handy PDF that explains the process behind it. You will need photo-editing software, gimp is a free tool that's stable and easy to use. Or you can buy a copy of photoshop elements, if you plan of getting into drawing.

The themes you can create have static images as backgrounds, and icons. You can set multiple images for the background and the PS3 will randomly select one when it boots the XMB.

Hi guys, I've created a GT5 theme using images from the games Photomode. 

Most of the icons are the same apart from some of the folders which are a darker colour.

Anyways here's a link to the latest version (V1.50)

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I'd like to make a request..

If any of you have watched anime, you'll undoubtedly have seen a scene with a path, with cherry blossom trees on either side, with a breeze showering the road with the blossoms. Is it possible someone out there could make a Dynamic Theme with that? Hopefully anime style, but photographic is fine too.

Again, if I'm not allowed to make requests, just let me know.
