Well recently, when i start my PS3 with the controller by pressing the PS button, it keeps assigning itself to controller two... when no other controllers are on. Then when i turn the controller off and put it back on again, it knows its controller one... its a small inconveniance but its still quite annoying, and its never happened before, just started recently. just wondering if anyone else has had simmilar problems, and know of any solutions? Thanks in advance

when i'm playing UT3 sometimes, when i'm not even moving the analogue stick it still moves the character, whether this is the game or the controller who knows

Yeah, its because the last time you used it it was assigned to controller 2 so it stays ther for some reason. You dont need to restart the system though, just press the PS button until the menu comes up then go on to controllers and reassigned it to controller 1. Hope that made sense lol.

Do you have Guitar Hero? When I leave the dongle in, controllers automaticly become player 2.

Ohh i think i found the problem... ive got a usb sensor plugged in the front for the remote controll i have... so that could be it. Thanks for your replys guys

It must be something to do with the Unreal engine, as I had the same problem with Bioshock on my PC. It was fixed with a patch very soon after release I think?

eg. if I sidestepped, and then quickly go forward, then release the forward key, I'd keep going??
