But, as I stated earlier, PC's need upgrading all the time and all the PS3 games aren't available on PC.  We simply want the choice of being able to use a mouse and keyboard.

We might have had those beautiful point n click adventures (have you seen Runaway: A Twist of Fate, Machinarium, Gray Matter and The Book of Unwritten Tales) if Sony had allowed for full mouse and keyboard (not really an issue when talking about PnC games) support.

Not just in my opinion

It's an obvious matter of fact.

It's as simple as having MORE control, to let you choose which one suits you better.

AND there's the clear truth of the fact that a mouse (or trackball) can only be surpassed by eye-screen point systems regarding accuracy, response time and ease of use.

I have seen quite a few mature people pick up on PC use for internet and e-mail,

but have seen NONE consistently getting even NEAR to a single joypad or joystick from any of my entertainment systems over more than two decades of gaming. AND the new joypads have more than ten keys.

Simply put: the joypad is somewhat intuitive, but limited and stupid, compared to M+K, ESPECIALLY since you can actually PLUG one keyboard and mouse in your PS3...

Another thing to consider is tha Both Microsoft and Sony are trying to make not just the best games console but an all in 1 Home entertainment system, you can get joypad keyboards for both ps3 and xbox and external usb keyboards and mice...

Having them purely for emails is a waste of tech... games should utilise them also...  How much easier is it switching weapons with 1, 2, 3 etc instead of cycling through them..

With internet browsing also being a HUGE part of home entertainment, browsing the web would also be easier with a mouse..

obviously its not fair, but games could introduce keyboard and mouse only servers or mixed ones. like ut3

I just bought a ps3 with killzone 2 and infamous yesterday

and from the first day i start thinking that it was a stupid idea....

with infamous i can do something but with killzone2 OMG

i need one hour to pass the bridge and the mobs witch they get of the two vehicles

at the start of the game!!!! (knowing how to blow up the bridge)

(i am a "pc gamer" i finish games like Call of Duty in 2 days if not in 1 day)

and before i clean all the store after the vehicles i run out of bullets!!!!!

 

i was thinking of buying Motorstorm Pacific Rift & Resistance 2

but now i cant risk throwing 30E buying the Resistance (witch is

a great game with mylt. and co-op) ending up in to the corner watching me…

if u think ps3 games are better than pc games your pc must be *****

all my pc games play @1080p and 7.1 surround sound and on my 50" plasma flogs the arse of my ps3 but in saying that i love my ps3 for grand turismo, wolverine ,wreastlemania legends and blue ray movies
