Could someone tell me why?

Long time vidzone was not working at all for me. After last patch start working again. Just used it once or twice in the last week - and now restricted monit pop-up when I try to start it.

Im 37 years old living in UK (Im from Poland - and I know that my english still isn't perfect)

Tried to send them email on: restrictedaccount@vidzone.tv but their address is propably wrong or not working.

There is any way to fix this or I have to wait another year or 2 for big major patch to use it again?

Are you planning on stay put in UK for a long time?

You just need to create a UK account now. To access UK content, that will fix your Vidzone content for now any way.

Applications have updates vidzone may have added a new filter that just blocks your account buy mistake, but you live in UK so you CAN have a UK PSN ID account.

You use The UK account to access UK apps and the other PSN ID for normal usage.

Well this is pants!!!!

I have turned on my ps3 and clicked on vidzone as i have for a long time and was shocked to find my account is restricted, WHY?????

I have tried to email but its a bogus email address, CAN ANY ONE HELP?

I have tried to research this online but cannot find much at all, what i do find is people have the same problem and it looks like nothing can be done about it,

WHY OFFER A SERVICE IF YOU CAN NOT USE IT

Are you still in Germany or have you moved.

Germany has that music regulator which has to be payed off each year maybe the vidzone check bounced or the Fee was increased to much this year.

I have the same problem:
I live in Switzerland, and vidzone was working perfectly on my PS3 until today. I can't get it started; there is an Error Message saying:
"An Error occured during country checking progress."

Do I really need to create a new fake foreign account to enjoy good music?
It would be awesome if anyone could help me with this, because I really had high hopes for VidZone and it's frankly just a huge disappointment by now.

Regarding Vidzone:

on Vidzone startup application some users, regardless of location, are greeted with this notice

[An error occured during country checking process]

If you look at the above posts people from different countries are affected, but I'm based in the UK with UK PSN ID and I too have this same problem. So is there anyone from Vidzone who can sort this?
