Its a bit early for thoughts like that I think.

Star Wars 1313 was rumoured to be running on next gen tech but its was confirmed to be running on Unreal 3 on a high end PC instead of the next gen Unreal 4 engine.

If that was running on UE3, I can't wait to see what UE4 can do.

I think we're gonna see a lot of multi-generation titles coming up, people obviously want to push the next-gen when it comes round but I think few devs are prepared to forfeit the install base of current consoles too.

We're probably gonna see a lot of games "running on high-end PCs" but announced for current-gen consoles with hush-hush responses to anyone asking if these 'll be next-gen or not.

Re: Watch_Dogs - Discussion Thread

Yeah it did look sweet :smileyhappy: I just hope LucasArts are back as they went downhill and stopped internal development for the past 2 years. Now they're looking like they have made the best Star Wars game in years. Its just a shame it doesn't feature Light Sabres :xCry:

Apparently they're getting help from Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) too.

Re: Watch_Dogs - Discussion Thread

The peeps talking about this being next gen,

As with most multi-platform games, pc will always be the showcase for visuals ads.

Most in here can just expect nearly the same look as eg.Deus Ex on PS3.

Fancy DX 11 and PhysX stuff helps tart it up no end, but also, parts of that vid were prerendered cutscenes.

If Deus Ex, Batman AC etc is anything to go by, It'll still look pretty good though, so I'll probably skip the pc version and play it on my tv :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Watch_Dogs - Discussion Thread

I wouldn't say that looked totally like next gen material as some of that demo looked like it could run on this generation of consoles. But if that does turn out to be next gen, then it's very dissapointing in my book.

I'll need more demo's to convince me, The cars look flimsy to drive, almost like Saints Rows cars.

Re: Watch_Dogs - Discussion Thread

the game looks awesome, i am really intrigued on how they are going to implement the mp/co op withing the game, when they showed all the different players at the end of the gameplay.
