Hey Folks.
So, my mum had a bit of luck the other day on a scratch card and has decided to treat me, my sister and our kids so she is giving us all some cash. My sister will probably use her money towards the deposit on a house and the kids will get what they want, mainly breakable toys. I'm using mine in a sensible way though, as I already have a place with my fiancee and I don't really require anything badly.
I have decided that I will be giving the other half some money and then treating myself to the following on Monday.
General Stuff
Harry Potter Blu-Ray Boxset
Fast & Furious Blu-Ray Boxset
Underworld Blu-Ray Boxset
Tattoo of daughter's name
Clothes
PS3 Stuff
SSX - Pre-order
Syndicate - Pre-order
Binary Domain - Pre-order (can't pass on the price)
Catherine
The Darkness II
Saints Row 3
Assassins Creed Revelations
Just Cause 2
Are there any games that you folks would highly recommend? I will look on youtube at gameplay video's and make my decisions.
The reason I ask is I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to build up my gaming collection as 2012 doesn't really have much in store for me and if it did, it is usually hard for me to get the games I want.
Below is a list of games I already have so you know what not to say, and also to give you an idea of what I like.
Games I already have
Battlefield 3
Bioshock 2
COD: MW3
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
FIFA 12
Mafia II
MGS HD Collection
Rage
Skylanders
Skyrim
Splinter Cell Trilogy
Tomb Raider Trilogy
Uncharted 3

well two that stand out for me would be Mass effect 2 and 3 (3 is not out yet but will be in a few weeks). Mass effect 2 was amazing (and still is... i am currently playing through the story again). It stands alone as a game, but if i had to compare it to something which you already own it would be Deus Ex (though in my opinion mass effect 2 is vastly superior). You can pick up mass effect 2 for about £20 now as well, leaving you a bit more money for any other games that people might suggest, and if you end up enjoying it, thats when mass effect 3 becomes a must buy!!!

@Devastator9
I played a bit of ME2 and couldn't get on with it and I don't know why.
@Wretched_Hawk
The only reason I'm getting the Harry Potter boxset is because I remember watching the earlier films when I was younger, but couldn't remember what happens. This also gives me a chance to catch up before I watch the final part. I've been looking at Rayman but I just don't know if I will like it, but then again, £20 isn't really that much of a risk. Already played Hot Pursuit and hated it, promised myself I wouldn't buy another Need for Speed unless they make an Underground HD Collection or Underground 3.
@TomBcfc
Been considering that too, just that I haven't played all the way through Arkham Asylum as I got bored of it.
@Dawzah
My mum won it, and she is giving me £1000, but she has won £40,000 a year for life.
I have removed Binary Domain from my list as after watching a few more videos I am unsure wether I do want it now, it just looks like your typical shooter with robots instead of people.
