Hi all, haven't really posted much in forums as I'm not much of a forum where I look but generally that's about it unless there is a problem.  I just find there is so much content I don't know where to start one of the reason  I suppose

Anyway as the topic suggests what is the best way of getting friends on the ps3 to play games with.  I have a large variety of games and consider myself a bit of a gamerholic.  I love buying games and playing them when I want.  I used to spend lots of time on my PC playing just 1 game to death.  But those days are gone.  I tried to join a few clans but they seem to just play 1 specific game and have such rigorous demands.  I thought having plenty of people in my friend list would make things easier.

So any suggestions as to a good way of getting plenty of friends and making playing online that much better.

Good question OP.

I guess it's like anything whereby you want to increase something. You have to market the fact. The bonus for you is that you have a varied taste, so you can look out for other forum members asking for friends and send a request.

If you want to be more proactive, get into Home. Join areas where people mix and intro yourself.

If you were really switched on (!), why not play an online game with a headset on and try and engage someone with chat & / gameplay (save their life etc).

If your PS3 is on, then you have the chance to erm...what;'s that saying?

Ok so it sounds like I should make some sort of post detailing what type of games I own / play in order to get me as the market out there

Is there a simple way for example showing what games i have played like when you look online and compare games? or would it just be best to put up a post listing the varity of games i play?

Certainly hope there is a simple way as there are plenty i like to play hehe

Again, the more you tell people about what you like to play (and when) the better your chances will be of getting replies from likeminded individuals / groups.

There's also a forum calendar on here somewhere (link any1 pls?) that shows organised game nights / events to participate in.
