OK for those who say you wouldn't run/rush in real life = well you would if you had umlimited respawns without any plenty for dying!

It's a game not real life, most comments here seem to be directed at MW2. I hate camping in that game it feel more acceptable in tactical shooters like Ghost Recon where you can move about tactically.

Nothing wrong with camping if your a sniper, but if your a normal soilder then no not cool i will be activly looking for you

Play the game the way you want, if some don't like it and start with the "Camper" or "Noob tube" verbal diarrhea tough, stick a few claymore down and really infuriate them until they "Rage quit"...yeah that's right, we have another saying to add to COD online unofficial rule book of whats supposedly not allowed by YOU on COD games from people you killed......"rage quit"....i don't know how many time i heard it last night when a host leaft mid game.

Camping.. Ahh the memories. Nice roaring fire, beers, steaks, bacon, burgers the works ahh I love camping. Oh not that camping?


Base camping is all I hate in games, ala Killzone 2 for instance. Any other form of camping is fine by me, if its a spawn nade being camped on then fine, use an alternative one or flank the campers, if its say a sniper on say MAG then he's pretty flipping useless if he stays in the same place because he wont last long when I hunt him down knowing exactly where he is

The trick is you control a camper if your lucky and smart enough. Flush them out and flank them it all adds to the fun I think

As long as you can spawn safely on the map and have a chance without dying instantly then its all gravy baby! But if like in Killzone where you cannot escape then its no fun dying after you spawn every time.

Dont get the annoyance with this does everyone not play a game the way they enjoy most? Who gives a monkeys if someones giving you pelters for your playing style just mute them.Me ? i run about a lot and generally get killed lol but thats what i enjoy.

But not everyone does, it's a choice and style of play, some like being slow, quiet, patient and getting accurate kills, others like to run about flushing people out; I like to do both.

There are a lot more headless chickens online than there are campers.

People camp in real life for one simple reason. There is no respawns in real life.

In a game you have no excuse you have infinite lives.
