Re: When are PS3 developers ever going to bring the flash version on the PS3 upto date?

could you save up more before you buy the console, and then buy everything you need in one go?

Please use plain text.

The browser was never put there to take the place of a PC. It's old and basic, mainly for searching for game information, or visiting gamefaqs which I have never had a problem with. You're trying to make it do something it isn't quite capable of and then just trolling about it.

The machine does work. It plays Blu-ray games, movies and music.

What you mean buy an expensive HDMI TV instead of use the cables supplied with the PS3 that are supposed to work with my existing CRT TV that I already own making it compatible - is that what you mean?
Trading Standards say a product should be 'fit for purpose'.
It's really quite simple - provide the necessary cables and make sure said console is FULLY compatible universally or don't provide the cables and say clearly on the box 'not compatible with CRT TVs' - capisce?!

That's not what the sales blurb says according to other posts I've seen on here - the expresson 'all rounder' was used by Sony apparently!
Call it something else - but don't call it a BROWSER - if half the video links you go on want you to go to Adobe to upgrade (imaterial to whether your using CRT or HDMI so I've heard) and the javascript is so full of holes that many text fields you try to enter data in to just blink at you. For example when I go on to Twitter's main logon page it just blinks at me when I try to logon - I have to use the 'fogotten username/password' page to gain access.
I'm TROLLING when this is MY THREAD - I think you have it backwards. I am trying to highlight serious shortcomings with the PS3 which need to be sorted out be the company - that's not trolling in my book!

If your currently using a CRT set i strongly recommend spending £5 on a proper RGB scart cable. http://www.amazon.co.uk/PS3-SCART-Cable-Playstation-1-7meters/dp/B000Q01W92

It's what i used when i first had my PS3 till i upgraded to HD. The picture quality is a vast improvement over the red/white/yellow supplied AV cable.

He was picked on by red heads when he was a kid, they used to flush his head down the toilets by all accounts.

That''s why he's an angry boy now and he takes his frustrations out on the PS3.

This guy is a  few pistons short of a engine.

Below is a Signature

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

Re: When are PS3 developers ever going to bring the flash version on the PS3 upto date?

I've spent the past few hours looking mover some of your long winded and tedious threads. Why don't you do these things;
Either, buy a cheap HDTv, the browser experience vastly improves when you're not using SD...
Get a USB keyboard for like a fiver so you're not using a virtual keyboard and you can keep your Berlin wall sized text into one neat post.
OR
Sell your ps3, buy a standard PC and use that properly.
Use second life, it is somewhat similar to Home
That way, you get to continue playing games, some of which are better than ps3 games, you can play all those crappy flash games and you can bug another forum with all your whining because we live in an imperfect world.
Or, even better option, build your own goddamn games machine with a 'fantastic' browser, while developing all the software to run it and getting game developers to make games for you. When you do that, then you can complain about the ps3, as let's be honest, is a brilliant machine.

Re: When are PS3 developers ever going to bring the flash version on the PS3 upto date?

I see your quote of my post cut out the important bit (and my whole point) which was that the ps3 plays disc games perfectly well, and that is what it's designed to do.

You can get games for £5 pre-owned!

Or, like has been said countless times, you should have got a pc/laptop/netbook instead.
