PSN isn't bad. His choice of ISP and the configuration of his home network are to blame, if indeed he is getting the speeds he says. I suspect he gets perfectly normal speeds but likes to stir it up. How he hasn't been banned is beyond me.

Well i can download around 1GB of data in around 25-30 minutes on a crappy ADSL connection so i would say look at ISP's or router setup if your not getting adverted speeds.

My store downloads ain't to shabby for the speeds i currently have around 6.5 to 8.5 download and 1.0 upload which is pretty consistent roll on my local exchanges upgrade in march ill shop around for a new ISP.

Annoyingly, it's you who's more likely to wind up on the wrong side of the mods.

They'll notice your avatar before they see what he's doing.

If you spot a troll just report them, don't retaliate as you will likely get yourselves in trouble too, even if you are getting filled up with rage, just take a moment to breathe and have a cuppa tea and let us do the dirty work for you.

But I can see why Frodo lost his cool, you seldom deal with trolls effectively, prefering instead to be harsh on long term regular posters who've simply had enough of seeing the same people getting away with teh same breach of the posting rules

Although we don't openly discuss bans, I feel it would be nice for you to get some sort of assurance of the situation.

The best way for trolls to be dealt with is to grief report them.   If they have not been grief reported there is a chance they have not been seen.

When dealing with any offending users in breach of the House Rules, we take in to account their previous moderation history as well as the actual offence too.

Any estalished users of this forum should be well versed in the House Rules and be willing to abide and respect them at all times.
