Sony got behind 3D so seems bizarre to me that they haven't yet made any true proper dynamic 3D themes that would take advantage of my 3D telly:/

3D does not run on XMB it only runs in PIC APPs, GAMES and FILMs. The PS3 only turns it on when these peices of media trigger it.  

Force perspective 3D has been done on many themes. 

A better title would be, " ソニーイネーブル3Dのメニューをしてください。"

As the firmware coders are in japan not EU. 

And 3D remains a gimmick even with Sony pushing it. when it gets propper backing titles wont be released in 2D.

I hope they don't release everything in 3D. It's just a gimmick and I know a lot of people (me included) that either wear glasses or after about 2 hours gets a headache from 3D.

i get headache aswell dude. 

even though i have 35 tv i hope it phases out for next consoles.

Problem for me is I wear glasses, so using the 3D shades is almost impossible. Last film I went to see at the cinema was in 3D and it gave me a headache after 2 hours and it took me about 15 minutes for my eyes to adjust back to normal.

The Nintendo 3DS screen is even worse, I can handle about 5 minutes on that before turning it off.

I must just be one of the lucky few that has no problems with 3D regarding ill effects.

Same here, 18 months with a 3DTV and ill effects = zero.

There was, though I'm not sure if it was actually stereoscopic or they just called it '3D' because the shards of glass etc were flying about in the foreground.

There are one or two stereoscopic 3D custom themes floating about iirc, they require you to set your 3DTV to 'side by side' for them to work though which is rather pointless as you'd have to disable it every time you booted up a game or film.
