Sorry for any problems I cause posting this I'm pretty new to the forums I usually scan through them tis all.

However..I was genuinly wondering if we will ever see 'Name Change' So we can change are name but keep trophys, purchases and online stats etc. I'm not exact on Prices but I'm sure most people would be willing to pay some to change it to something different?

I'm just interested as my friend and much younger brother brought it up today and it's been bugging me ever since...

Again terribly sorry if one post can't cover two areas but I've noticed my PS3 has gotten a little slow playing some games now, Skyrim loads for ages now, and it gets warm quite quick. I have done a complete memory wipe (the one that takes 9 hours ?) and fingers crossed it will improve. I have the slim 160gb and it's only 4/5 months old..On a side note, is it normal for the disc drive to be so loud when reading ? Thanks for any input

they wont do it this gen. it was mentioned before they said it would be difficult to do it because of all the leaderboards something like that

they might implement it for PS4 time will tell

Its hardly an important feature, and one that wont appear as next gen is right around the corner.

I suspect the real reason is a dated, poorly designed, distributed database full of all kinds of unpredictable complexities.  We saw when they were hacked last year that they were mirroring and caching incomplete portions of the database on other servers. 

I know there is a lot of demand for this feature, but I'm glad they are not implementing it given the catastrophic problems it could cause.

It's not something we will see this gen.  If it is something they could have implemented already i'm sure they would have as it' would be easy money money for them - basically getting paid for doing nothing in particular.
