Here is a link to a Digital Foundry interview on the technicalities involved with the making Wipeout 2048 for the VITA, with Studio Liverpool's technical director Stuart Lovegrove.

In the interview he is asked if 2048 will be ported to the PS3....basically the reply is "If people ask for it, Yes"

Personally I would love for 2048 to be ported to the PS3, then I could see what the hell is going on during a frantic race, something that even the larger screened VITA  can't do.

Anybody else like to see a PS3 port?

im still trying to get my wipeout HD (free from PS+) to work, seems like i cant redownload it when PS+ first started

Regardless of if you paid for WOHD or got it for free, if you have downloaded it once it will forever be in your download history at the PStore.

It comes in 2 seperate downloads, the main game, and a small 10k verification key code, the game won't open properly without the latter.

When you say you couldn't get it to work, do you mean entirely or just playing online?

im talking about the game, if i start it up, all seems find, it shows the sony startup thing, tyhen i get an error saying that something in the game file has become coruped and i need to redownload it. look in my download history and i only have the HD game pack and not the full game, and now i think about it, it nolonger lists the movies that i have downloaded.

so im thinking that the sony help line miht be getting a call from me soon

Hi crash,

Sorry to hear of your Wipeout HD issues.

With regards to video content, this automatically allows for a single download. That's why it will not display in the Downloads List. If you require another download of any movie content you have purchased, please contact your local PlayStation Support Centre for assistance.

In relation to Wipeout, if you have downloaded and played the game at some point, then the game file should be in a download list you've had access to in the past.

You can also check your Transaction History via www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com - this may be easier to look through than the Download List on your PS3.

If all else fails, contact your local PlayStation Support Centre as well

well it looks like i will be needing to call the help line for the first time. the transaction history has got wipeout HD on the list of games that i have paid for, but in the download list, only 5 of the 10 games are on the list.

Hey Crashman, I had a bunch of trouble with Wipeout HD as well. It was a long time ago, and my memory's pretty average at the best of times, but you may need to delete any game data you've picked up with your downloads, and hopefully that'll do the trick. Am not 100% that sorted it though. From memory, you can get to a download link searching through the game on the store as well (my download list is ridiculous, 800-odd or more, so easier just to go looking for whichever past classic I'm re-downloading, rather than scrolling through the thing).

thanks for the tip uuuuuummmmmmmm, axe99 was it, something tell me that i might know u from someware, but dont know were lol. what i have foud out is that i first downloaded the game (from the transaction history) on the 29-6-10, but looking in the download history,there is no wipeout or HD game pack on that date, but the HD fury expansion pack is listed on the list as 07/07/11, now im sure that pack came out the same the Wipeout game was avalible when the PS+ was first out

but will be giving sony a call some time this week
