Getting angry and swearing at the TV when there is an annoying part in a game that really shouldn't have been put in and spoiled it for me, or that I think that the developers did it intentionally to ***** me off :smileyvery-happy:

Take Dead Space 2 for instance last night at the end of chapter 5/beginning of chapter 6..

Spoiler

Seriously this is gaming desperation at its worst! I'm no longer looking forwards to Dead Space 3 now if they resorted to this kind of cheapness running out of ideas.

Dead Space 2 isnt an scary as DS1 but i prefer the mix of creepy atmosphere and action set piece moments, i didnt come across too many cheap scares its just the general feel of the game that creeps me out with some of the best lighting ive seen in any game

DS3 looks like a complete departure from the usual DS atmosphere which im kind of excited about plus im a sucker for co-op

As far as gaming habits go i would say probably judging a game before ive even given it a chance, within the first like 10-15 mins ill decide if i like a game or not without properly playing it but i dont do that anymore

I think you've completely missed the point of the topic, I can't remember mentioning the atmosphere or which game was scarier either :smileyindifferent:

I'm talking about annoying parts in games that spoil it for me..

I tend to talk to myself and the game characters quite a lot while gaming lol.

Re: Worst Gaming Habits

I tend to talk to myself when playing games if I playing by myself. It's mostly during games like Skyrim or Fallout. Doesn't happen all the time but every now and again.

nothing wrong with that :smileyvery-happy:

I will talk to the characters in the game, for example in fallout new vegas I was trying to tell this old geezer I'd sorted out his problem with the cows dying he just kept staring at me blankly and complained his cows were dying. I then shouted "argh let me tell you I've sorted it out!"

Another example is "drake you stupid idiot I didn't tell you to jump of there! jump at that ledge there you freak not into that abyss!"

Re: Worst Gaming Habits

Ignoring everything around me or if the game is too hard and unfair, I punch the bed or wall.

Examples of unfair games: god of war 3 titan difficulty (when fighting cerberus) and Aliens vs predator
