I wouldn't say I hate these... it's more along the lines of me being terrible at them ![]()
- RTS: I just don't enjoy them.. at all!
- JRPG: I don't get them, the story tends to be samey, characters feel hollow and unlikeable. Usually have rigid, outdated gameplay and not much freedom. (I'm speaking very generally here)
- Fighters: Apart from improved graphics, they haven't really improved for years. I enjoyed them back in the day, but it feels like a stale, dieing genre.

That's what I first thought about the thread title, would of been better being ''Your least preferred genre'' or something like.
I don't like to say I hate RPG's seeing as I've hardly touched one, it's just there not for me and I prefer shooters etc ![]()

Let's put it this way - Fallout and Oblivion would be classed as RPG's (Westernised) whereas Star Ocean, Final Fantasy, Dark Cloud, White Knight Chronicles etc, would be classed as JRPG's.
RPG's (Westernised) tend to focus on real time combat with normally only one party member leading the story, whereas JRPG's (Japanised !) tend to focus on turn based battles and team based attacks/storylines.

Anything with Elves, Orcs or Wizards.
Oh, and JRPG's if they carry the name 'Final Fantasy'
