Like the title says - what are your most hated genres of gaming that you just can't abide ? The ones that are a complete pitch to play through.

First Person Shooters , just because there's way too many FPS games out now.

Hmmmm Travel lol ! Weird one that - seems as though 'Route 66' is currently the only game that falls into that genre !

FPS because they are systematically stifling creativity by being so easy to make and selling so well. If gaming carries on the way it's going they will have to rename the console the F(PS3).

Don't like beat 'em ups in the sense of games like street fighter because they haven't progressed one bit from 15 years ago. They are very stale and don't have a lot of replayability in my opinion.

JRPG's is my most 'hated' genre as such, just not my kind of game.

Not a fan of the beat 'em ups like Street Fighter either.

I'd go with Beat 'em Ups too.

Street Fighter is ok... I loved it in the day but I just can't get on with VF, Tekken and the like.

Maybe it's only 'cause I'm uber poo at them

I'm with fords here.

I've never been interested at all in JRPG's like Final Fantasy and can't stand the turn based fighting. I tried FFVII and didn't see the appeal.

as for beat 'em ups, when I had a Saturn I did enjoy Virtua Fighter 2 but have never bought one since then as for me they get boring fast.
