i have just recently made my xbox360 dissapear i had been playing for a year having to pay to play. xbox live was always verry slow and when i recieved an update every few months there were always more problems to follow. most games that i played were verry laggy n jumpy. i also had to get 5 xbox 360s repaird so in the end i brought a newer model the best the1 they seid ironed out all the problems yes u may know it the elite and yes the elite broke on me so i opted 4 good old faithfull ps3.
iam pretty new to ps3 ive always been a fan of sony ps1 ps2 now ps3 iam a gamer ive played pretty much everything so i know my way around nextgen the ps3 isnt really all that hard to use. had myne now for 3 days n am lovin it i just have a couple of questions about my console if any 1 could possibly fill in some grey areas 1.how do i get more choice on gamer profile pics and 2.why cant i chat to freinds while playin a single player game for instance heavenly sword i cant send messages while in game i have to exit game which gets really anoying if there is anyone that can help use this forum or post message to my gamer tag it is SN8KEMANfoxhound thanks lads

1. You can't change your profile picture at the moment and It hasn't really been mentioned, but it could come in a future firmware update. 2. At the moment you can't chat from 1 game to another but might come in a firmware update. In game messaging is being worked on aswell.

im in the same boat mate i have always had every major console and was very excited with the release of the 360. That was until i purchased a ps3 i realised i didnt have to put up with a console breaking down every 6 months and having to pay £40 a year to play online. Ok both machines have its fair share of crap games but games like Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank feel like a breath of fresh air amongst the barrage of FPS

good for you mate. wise decision. i did the same after having 3 of them go on me. there was a member on this site yesterday who has decided to do the reverse and get rid of his ps3 for a 360. i told him straight that he is making a big mistake.
