ok so im looking to buy a new ps3. can i tranfer everything on to the new ps3. like cod elite maps ETC. if so how do i do this

Think you may also have to deactivate your current system , we are only allowed 2 activations now!!???

Sign in as normal on the new system , your game saves and data etc should be fine , then go to acc management , download history to re- download any dlc etc.

Can you not just do the data transfer thing between the 2 PS3's? (that is if you will have 2 PS3's at the same time). This is what am doing on Tuesday when my new Red PS3 arrives.

I'd have said the same as above if you'll have your original PS3 at the same time. From memory it was only my Singstar songs I had to redownload when I got my slim, everything else transferred over using the data transfer.
