Hi Auste72,

You can copy across saved data from one PS3 to another.

Please Note:

To do this effectively, the saved data needs to be linked to a PSN account, and to be used, you'll need the same account on the receiving PS3.

Some saved data is copy protected, so this will not be able to be copied.

Some saved data only allows one version per user profile - bear this in mind as well.

The easiest way to copy non-protected saved data is to locate it in the 'Saved Data Utility (PS3)' folder, press triangle and 'Copy' - onto a correctly formatted USB memory stick which you've got inserted into the console. Copy it across to the new console.

Other options are:

Data Transfer Utility (this will delete / overwrite any data on the receiving PS3)

Backup Data Utility (this will mostly allow content only to go back onto the original PS3)
