If the pixel is black, its dead and you cant fix it. If its coloured, it is stuck and you may be able to fix it. http://www.instructables.com/id/Fix-a-stuck-pixel-on-an-LCD-monitor/

Re: dead pixel

I've read when I've bought LCD monitors and some TVs that there has to be a certain amount of dead pixels for them to replace it, but it obviously differs with different manufactures. You could try and literally flick it, sometimes frees it.

I'm telling you that for an LCD screen to be classed as faulty it has to have more than 1 dead/stuck pixel. Its part and parcel of the technology. Samsung may be one of very few companies that will honour a replacement, but you should count yourself lucky.

Re: dead pixel

http://www.behardware.com/art/imprimer/519/ Mosy companies ask for 3-10 dead pixels before an exchange, depending on the type.
