Re: deus ex next free ps+ game

I've already played Deus Ex: Human Revolution some months ago...and I'm gutted there was nothing else new on PS Plus yesterday  :smileysad:  DE is a top game though.

I'm curious.  Does it get more exciting after the first mission?  I got up to the point last night where I saved the hostages in that room with the bomb... and maybe it's because I bought the Tom Clancy Splinter Cell HD trilogy six months ago... but I find the whole stealthy/knock-em-out combat approach kind of time consuming and boring after a while.   I wish I hadn't played that trilogy now because I loved it at first... so no doubt I'd be in love with Deus Ex by now if I had not.

Re: deus ex next free ps+ game

I really wasn't sure during the first mission but after than it goes to a city and I thought it got better.

Agreed. It became more RPG like. I'm liking it more and more.

It's truly appealing to the nosey busybody in me, who wants to crawl through air-conditioning shafts and listen in on people's conversations.  :smileyvery-happy:

You'll want to put a bit into hacking skills then so you can nose through people's emails :smileyvery-happy:

There are loads of bits where you are supposed to be sneaking in or out of some office building but I kept stopping to snoop through emails

Hahaha.  Oh God, I can't tell you how much I hated hacking at first, but now I fully understand how it works (the in-game tuto was a bit inadequate), it's growing on me.

I cannot walk past any coded terminal or door, no matter how irrelevant it seems to the mission, without hacking it. :smileyvery-happy:

Re: deus ex next free ps+ game

I had to watch videos on the internet to try and understand the hacking because it was so poorly explained in game.
