i've posted this in the football section but i want my voice to get heard, if this isnt allowed, the mods can be happy to delete it.

im sure im not the only one that thinks the soundtrack is never any good exept maybe 2 songs each year 

i've got the fifa games since fifa 04 but the soundtrack has no music to cater for the people that like dance and house music. i want an option to select a genre of music before you start the game or the ability to use your vidzone playlists. i know there'll be licensing problems but i dont want to listen to 'pop' music, i want it to feel like im buying an album along with the game that make me want to stay on the menu's as opposed to rushing off them as soon as i possibly can.

i mean who has any of the fifa 10 songs on their ipod? cos i sure havent heard on any of them apart from wyclef jean  -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_10#Soundtrack

i know this post isnt going to achieve anything, i just want to voice my opinion on something thats  annoying me

how long do you spend in the menus lol ive heard of royksopp and wycliff jean from 2010 but thats about it i think unless i hear the tunes.

Tbh this is Fifa and tbh Fifa always has new songs that will be hits in months to come like look at Fifa 09 it had The veronicas - Untouched and a few months ago that was a hit so it doesn't matter if you've never heard of them.

Thing is when the 09 came out last year, i knew a few of the songs already.. and thought the same thing.. But you turn on the radio now, or even on adverts and you hear the fifa tunes.. I just think the people of EA get in there pretty early with some of the track listings..

But as has been mentioned, how much time do you spend in the menus anyway.. plus I always turn the EA and ESPN podcasts on too.

All I'll say is it's better than the music in PES


The Fifa soundtrack has always been great though IMO, lots of unknown songs that are generally pretty sweet. If you don't like it, contact EA and give them feedback on it

I just feel they could do much better and bring more variety to the soundtrack.

i usually play in the arena alot and do freekicks so thats where i usually have to listen to the rubbish that goes on. and after a year playin it it gets tiring and boring.

i'm just not looking forward to next year as you can do quite alot now in the arena and i'll have to just listen to the music on my phone instead.

if they had something from david guetta,tiesto or deadmau5 or a artist like them i would be happy.

if they also did use vidzone integration you cannot say thousands of people would be happy.

It is a bit of a naff soundtrack but I couldn't care less. It's all about the football.

The whole point in Fifa soundtracks is unheard bands etc, Nobodys heard of them most of the time, But they always fit the game. Quit complaing.

Altho i hate NFL and think its a stupid sport, Madden always seems to have the best soundstrack.
