Late in march or early april I intend to purchase a brand new ps3 (my current one is beginning to sound a little 3rd rate) and of course i do not want lose any of my saved game data. Just wondered if anyone new if any of the following games have copy protected saves:
Ace combat assualt horizon
battlefield 3
call of duty mw2 and mw3
fifa 12
nba 2k12
Skyrim
borderlands
Uncharted 3
mass effect 2
The saboteur
Psn+ cloud saving is not an option as i will not be online when i will be doing this (my work is seasonal, i also will be living at my job and this means that my ps3 is offline between march and mid november). I have backed up my harddrive in the past so i am fully aware of what i need to do in that regard.
Also as a side note, in terms of the new ps3 i will be getting, is their any difference in performence/ fan noise when it comes to the bigger hardrive ps3's (i am thinking of getting the one with the biggest hard drive, but if the smaller hard drive ps3 are quieter/ more reliable i may get one of them instead.
Any advice/help in this matter would be appreciated.

Assuming you will still have your old PS3 working when you get your new one, then the data transfer facility will copy all game saves across to your new console.
cool, i thought i remember hearing something about that, is there anything extra i need to purchase in terms of connections in order for this to work?
