i've trading in my ps3, totally wasted £425 on this great big pile of rubbish.
okay so the technology may be superior to anything else but without any good games its just a useless black brick.
thank god i have my 360 elite and Wii... think i'll get a couple of DS's wit my trade in, or some games for my 360.

Exactly my view. What is the point of buying a console and launch and moaning that there are no games.
@ Orig. Poster: I take it that you never got your 360 at launch, or you would've probly sold that after a couple of months too.
This is very true. I had my 360 since launch, and didn't have a single game on it, because there wasn't anything worth having, until TR-Legend came out and CoD 2 and PGR3 came down in price.
It took at least 8 months before that happened, but with the PS3 I had 4 games at launch, which was Motorstorm, R:FoM, F1 and RR7 and have bought a few more since which are even better.
Yes, I have a 360, and have bought a few games since, such as PGR4 and Bioshock, but the only other game I am waiting on is for Mass Effect and even then, I'm not sure how good that is really going to be compared to say the KOTOR series.
For me, there is a lot more variety on the PS3, and with EoJ just released, Folklore a week or so ago and R&C and Drakes Fortune all Exclusive to the PS3, that in itself is some awesome games that will keep my PS3 occupied.
Also, the fact the PS3 is more reliable than the 360, I may end up getting CoD4, Assassins Creed for the PS3 as well along with Haze when that comes out.
I can't honestly say what on the 360 has me excited, because although Halo3 was an ok game, it wasn't mind blowing, and the Online for Halo 3 really doesn't do anything for me.
People are using Multiplayer games as a reason for buying a console, but after a while, most Multiplayer games all seem to play the same, and the arguments end up the same. My game is better than yours.
For me, I enjoy the Single Player environment and will give MP a go as well, but it's SP that I enjoy more.
So, he has sold his PS3, leave him to it. It's his decision, and he's made it. To be honest, I just with Petty Pan was ****** off with him, but he seems to like the PS3 forums more than he does his beloved 360.

I was in the exact same situation with my Launch 360 and then i got the RROD about 9 months after purchase. I just recently bought another 360 for games like PGR4 and Bioshock and of course Halo 3, but i believe the PS3 has the most promising future. I think anyone would be insane to get rid of their PS3's at this stage as we're about to be flooded with some truly exciting looking games.

It seems you must have a sexual relationship with your Wii and your 360 as at the end of the day the Wii...God bless its little soul is NOT next gen and this time next year the 360 will be all but gone!

Source: Microsoft's announcement on its cumulative sales, Target for 4th quarter this year is around 12-14 million.
First and foremost the the PS3 is FAR from a pile of rubbish.
