I know absolutely jot about Murphy TV's and what kind of latency or contrast ratio they offer. My guess would be not the best (I'll probably pay for that piece of speculation)

For that kind of money you could probably find a noice Sammmy or Panny.

I can't find any reviews of it on AVforum and the like so I'd approach with caution, presumably Littlewoods have a reasonable returns policy if you don't like it?

It's 1080p by the looks of it and note that it's passive 3D (like in the cinema) rather than active shutter 3D. I've tried a few passive sets and was generally impressed by them.

If I where paying £500 for a TV I would be looking for something better than that imo.

UK Assembly

Cello Electronics products are manufactured on a specially developed production line based in the UK. Located in the North East of England, Cello Electronics TVs are assembled to exact specifications in order to ensure that every single Cello TV is produced to the highest standard. :Stupid:
The UK based assembly line holds many benefits for its clients. Customers can see stock being produced and are also able to be involved in the product quality checks. Custom changes to specific Cello TVs can also be made during the production process and clients can see the meticulous quality procedures that all products go through.

Translation = forget the TV and try another mail order site for a better brand...

Buy a LG/samsung 3D TV on credit from argos, they will be under £500 and better...

Re: how would this tv be for 3d ps3 gaming

i regret buying 3d, as i have hardly used it, bravia42inch, But i 'think' it's because of my living room, ie my tv is in a corner, and my seating is along a wall.. am kinda sure that to get best 3d picture your meant to be sitting straight, facing screen around 3 metres away, just a thought, anyway i don't think i want to rearrange furniture every time i want to play game, or watch film,  the kids love it though, but they just crash on floor facing tv when using it... also am kinda interested in above post, saying passive is better format, maybe thats my problem, though i 'was' informed the active was supposedly superior, Not that i am looking to start debate/argument over it, seen to many other (usually heated) ones etc... anyway i hope the guy looking has more enjoyment from his than i have had.
