Small tin of paint = ~£1
Set of PS3 decal stickers = ~£5
Pre-painted console = ~£200
YEAH GIMME TEH PRE PAINTED CONSOLEZ MAN duhhhh
You think it's about money, wether someone can afford one or not? LOL
It's about the sheer dumbness of some people... the sheep heard mindset... the ways of the zombie shoppers........... the .... oh forget it.... just keep on drinkin that koolaid i guess.
from my point of view why would i want to paint or even put stickers on my ps3.... looks naff
sheep herd mindset?
why because i want to go from a 160gb ps3 to a 320gb ps3, joined PS+ so my downloadable content from psn as gone up considerably (infamous 2 15gb, LBP2 5gb just 2 titles i have downloaded)
now a black 320gb ps3, if your lucky costs can cost about £180-£200
so by picking the Red console, you could argue as cost me an extra £20 than the black ps3 320gb but for that extra £20 i have got an extra controller
So now why Red?? Just had my Living Room decorated and where my ps3 will be positioned it will blend in nicely
so i think rather than being a Zombie shopper or following the crowd etc i have actually thought out my purchase, so whether i can afford it or not is irelevent

I have maybe 50-odd gigs of data I want to transfer to the new one.
For me it took about 18 hours. I had about 200gb of data to transfer. When I started it it said it would take about 4 hours the bloody liar lol. If I where you I would start it before you go to bed and leave it on over night.

Thanks. I'm anticipating being misled with the estimated time. ![]()

Ok, I'll give you this one, the upgrade from a 160GB - 320GB makes sense I wont argue too much with it only to say buying a 2.5" 5200rpm generic laptop drive to replace the 160GB with say a 640GB for around £35-40 would have done the job as nicely, and with the extra spare monopoly money left over you could have bought quite a lot of extra controllers I'm guessing.
I have the 320GB and I'm now down to 88GB the latest PS+ offering made me realize i need more space, so I'll have to upgrade my drive at somepoint as well.
