just tried watching itv player on my ps3, got a message saying my internet explorer may not support the content anymore, whats happening, do we no longer get access to itv player on ps3

Are you trying to watch the standard itvplayer via the browser or the browser bookmark in the "my channels" TV section you need to be using the latter.

I had the same issue over the weekend. It did not seem to work on the ps3. Through the app or even the browser option.
I ended up just using my laptop instead.
