for some unknown reason i cant play black ops on multiplaer. the game loads ok. i can play campaign and  i can play zombies online. but when i go to multiplayer, the first screen comes up then freezes my whole ps3.

 it's not the disk coz i have tried 3 other ones and still the same problem. other games go online no probs.

does anyone know what it is and how i can fix it.

.. yeah you trade it in and never buy another Treyarch game. They aint half as good as IW when it comes to CoD Multiplayer.

I've given up on it and i stupidly bought the £65 edition.

You could try deleting your Game Data for Black Ops?

That might help?

And make sure the disc is clean. If you do manage to get to the MP menu, go into the options and set it to load MP by default.

Does the PS3 freeze up as soon as you get to the MP screen or when you try to connect?

yeah. tried that. no joy.

it freezes as soon as i get to the mp screen. i have had nothing bit hasstle with this game.

you could try selling it for £30 and by another copy

same thing has happened to me . iget as far as d/loading game settings .must be an update of some sort

just to let you know that black ops servers are doing maintenence and upgrades today, found out from the website, so this might be the cause
