I want to buy a slimline ps3 as I have the bulky 1 at moment but the only thing stopping me is that I have downloaded 50+ sigstar songs and am worried I may not be able to transfer them to the slimline 1. Ive tried downloading them onto a memory stick but it wont let me due to copyrights. Can anyone help me out please. Thanks

I don't think you need to worry as they should all be linked to your account via PSN or SingStar Stores so once you get your new PS3 just go to the Store and download them back again.

Or you can do the long winded job of using the backup utility. This will backup every single thing you ave on the PS3 but it does take time.

I'm not 100% sure - But i seem to remember people having trouble with singstar downloads.

They had to ring SONY up first before they could download to a new ps3.

All other content downloads easily once youve signed into you account.

EDIT -Sorry,i just noticed you said transfer ...This may work.

There is a transfer utility on the PS3.

Google PS3 transfer go to the PS3 website to find out more.

Data transfer might work. However, your SingStar and PSN account aren't exactly the same. SingStar content is locked to a single console, so chances are you'll have to ring Sony anyway to get them to unlock your SingStar account.

You have tyo ring sony and ask them to reset your account thingy mo bo..... Trust me its not that easy to...... 3 weeks later and i cant download any songs on my ps3!
