Love original, downloadable games? Don’t miss PSN at E3!
PLAYSTATION®Network announces an action-packed line-up of previews for E3 this July
E3, Los Angeles – July 16 2008: This July, the games industry is flocking to Los Angeles for E3 to find out about the latest games sensations – and PLAYSTATION®Network isn’t going to disappoint. This year, we’re taking our hottest new downloadable PLAYSTATION®3 and PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) titles to show off to the gaming world – and these are the names to look out for…
Rachet and Clank™: Quest For Booty
Hunt for treasure on the high seas with the comically destructive duo
Ratchet and Clank return to PS3 with their trademark crazy weaponry, side-splitting comedy and dazzling 3D animation in this bite-sized treasure tale. Help Ratchet sail solo into a world of galleons, parrots and cutlasses in his quest to uncover booty and his missing mate Clank. Journey through the dark caves of Hoolefar Island, navigate the treacherous Viper Caverns and take on foul-tempered buccaneer and new nemesis Captain Darkwater. Beware, though: danger lurks around every corner.
Fat Princess™
Royalty is harder to kidnap when it’s full of cake…
How do you prevent your princess from being carried off by enemy warriors? In this game for up to 16 players, the answer is to feed her until she’s too heavy to lift. However, it’s not an easy task. You’ll need to harvest food, equip an army, fight the enemy on the battlefield and develop strategies of attack and defence – all the while, keeping your princess full of fattening food products. Then, it’s time to go and steal the enemy’s princess – if you can get her through the door, that is.
Flower™
Chill out in a soothing landscape of flower-covered hills
Another soothing, relaxing experience from thatgamecompany – developers of fl0w – Flower tasks you with gathering petals and soaring through the air across majestic landscapes, in order to purify the land as you see fit. Take a break from the usual frantic action of PSN to spread love and harmony throughout your surroundings with this peaceful and creative game that will appeal to players of all ages.
CRASH COMMANDO™
Old-school shooter fun with a next-gen twist
Join duelling factions the Grunts and the Jarheads to fight for world supremacy in this frantic side-scrolling fragfest! Fly into action with your jetpack, and then crush the enemy with an arsenal of 15 awesome weapons, tanks, jeeps, and even special moves. Whether you’re playing alone at boot camp, or 12-player online, you’ll love the accessible, over-the-top gameplay of CRASH COMMANDO.
Rag Doll Kung Fu™ Fists of Plastic
Martial arts madness with a loose-limbed twist.
Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic is a PS3-exclusive reworking of the much acclaimed 2005 title. It’s Kung-Fu party action with a difference – your warriors are shiny and stretchy puppets who fight with wildly exaggerated motions to create awesome visual effects. Build up your Chi power by mastering your moves, then use it to create spectacular SIXAXIS™ special attacks and combat sequences. Perfect your skills at home, then head online for multiplayer ragdoll mayhem.

Cool, I could see myself enjoying Fat Princess, Commando & Rag Doll Kung Fu.
Bit disheartened about the total silence on Wipeout HD though.
