i ordered the skin off ebay and just fitted it myself although it was hard because when i finished and the console is in light you can see quite a lot of bubbles but the camera dint pick the bubbles up, i mean you can only see them when a bright light is shining on it.
i have a vinyl skin for the 360 2 and to make that easier to fit and with no bubbles i used warm water and washing up liquid and soaked the 360 in it and it allowed me to slide it about and push the air bubbles out but i tried this with the ps3 and no matter how much i soaked it the stick just stuck fast, im suprised it finally stuck down with the amount of times i had to peel it back off cus i dint align it propperly.
i went for a skin for the ps3 because the ps3 itself had loads of scratches on it and i was fed up of seeing them so thats why i bought a skin to cover them up and make it jazzy.
many people on here told me to try displex scratch remover polish to get rid of scratches but that dint work at all, i guess the ps3 surface is just too delicate and there is no possible way to 100% get rid of the scratches.
