heres a quick question sony released info on devil may cry 4 saying that dmc4 will be one of the first ps3 titles to have achivements or entitlements what ever you wanna call them. we all know that the new avatar called home wont be released till spring 2008 so how will this be possible considering that achivements entitlements may need a avatar. xbox 360 has a dasboard with gamer card showing pic achivement points. how will ps3 have these entitlements, the dmc4 game is due out in 8th of febuary in eu. it may not need an avatar not sure how it will work. anyone got ideas on how this may be possible. maybe its a question may need answred for alot of people.i also read that u get a firm wave when you put the game in wich could take as long as 25 minutes and another to upload the game. maybe should just wait till i recieve my copy of dmc4.

Maybe the achievements will be stored on the PS3 until such time as HOME is launched and the appropriate avatar available ? I am only guessing as I didn't know this about achievements.....

Well first of all, you don't 'need' home to have achievements in game. From the games I have played only, R:FOM, Warhawk and R&C all have an achievements system in place etc etc etc. (and their are many others) Most games companies have stated that they will then release a patch to integrate their games into home. I suspect a direct trophy per achievement style with maybe bonus stuff if they are feeling generous. Alex
