ive been a gamer for over 20 years now, recently brought me a ps vita, but found my self this lately turning on either my ps3 or vita then turning them off 5 minutes later, does any one else feel this way, dont get me wrong theres games im looking forward to , and i have around 80 games on my ps3 but have just got no interest in playing them this lately, ive found my self preferring to sit down and watch a good movie.

I get like that some times, i find i don't want to game anymore and sell my console, only to buy one again a few months to a year later, realising how much i misses it. take a break put your console a way for a while, then at some point you'll want to start playing it again

everyone get burnout when gaming to much.... its time for a break and it is summer time, spend some time outside... winter come and crap weather, then you will be gaming again. its like this with everyone....

It happens to the best of us mate, as the others have said just chill out and take a break from gaming.

I too at the moment am much more enjoying watching a good movie in my spare time rather than getting any of the gaming consoles on.

Parts of the year i suffer gaming burnout. Best thing is to take a break for a week then when you come back to gaming you are more interested. Also try games you never thought you would like, can help and get you interested in different titles.

I suffer from this every now and again. I kind of just put it down to the fact that if I do something a aweful lot then my urge to do it eventually runs out. It's a over saturation on a certian type of media I guess.

I kinda hit a gaming wall where I have no craving to play anything in my games tower, so I take a few days off from the PS3. Usually after that something will spark a urge to fire up the PS3, be it a movie or Tv show I'll want to play a game in the same genre.

I've just taken a weekend off my PS3 and finally watched Game Of Thrones Season 1 on Blu Ray. The urge to fire up Skyrim has come aswell, so that'll be my plan for tonight into the early hours of tomorrow morning.

I don't have too many games for PS3 or PS Vita. That way I don't get bored as I only play the games I own. Also I only buy the games I am waiting for and not just on impulse.

To follow my last post here are the games I own on the PS3:
Aliens vs Predator, Killzone 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Resistance 3, Tomb Raider & Uncharted 3.

For the PS Vita:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2+, Ragnarok Odyssey, Resistance: Burning Skies, Shinobido 2 & Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
