right im absolutely fed up with sony! every time theres an update, the stupid console WICH IS MORE POWERFULL THAN A PC HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA what a joke, your updates are destroying my computer you idiotic dumbos get somebody who knows what their doing for christ sake!!!! a man by the name of geohot springs to mind! the browsers useless, cant even display 2 pages with no flash running on them! then when its crashed it rebuilds the database! every god damn time! and get this even during offline play some games lag! SORT IT OUT SONY OR I WILL!!! saying that though ps4 soon so im guessing you want to destroy everybodys console so we buy the new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the browser IS useless. Join the queue to complain about that one! But, you complain about Geholt as if it's Sony's fault.
Also, with the greatest respect, what are you doing to annoy you every time there's an upgrade? It's not as if it's a difficult procedure.
Sounds as if you're the kind of user who runs for the mains switch whenever your PS3 does something untoward. Hence possibly the need to constantly rebuild its database. Just a guess.

The browser since its latest update is find is pretty good in its compatibility and robustness. Its the Speed that lets it down, my old phone goes faster than it.

i was only saying that SONY dont know what there doing and they could find someone who does! LIKE geohot!!! i never once implied geohot has anything to do with the problems with my ps3!!! so please get facts straight in the future! thanks. p.s im just annoyed because i sometimes have to reinstall database numerous times,i just dont think any end user should have to do these things constantly.

i think hes suggesting that sony should employ someone that knows what their doing, when the ps3 came out it was supposed to be a super powerful piece of kit and for someone to say their mobile phone browser is faster and more stable certainly doesn't imply that its that capable or high tech.

I agree that perhaps Sony higher powers should listen to their users a bit more sometimes - or at least pretend to.

Sony's PS3 firmware updates are garbage, they mean nothing to good to the system other than useless security patches because Sony's worried about their users hack the system.

Oh guess what, they can if they really want, just with the right stuff they can downgrade the console right to 3.55 or even less if they want.

Firmware updates are meaningless, Sony.

By the way, for the goof balls that complain about people with PS3 hacked consoles are going to ruin their gaming experience, they're wrong, they can't play online. Besides, PS3's online is trash.

I can't say I have any problems using my PS3 to play online UMD.
I put a disc in or load up an installed game and join a multiplayer game then play with others just like any other system out there.
