Both are great games.

I'm playing Batman now and loving it. (only two challenge rooms left :smileyhappy: ) Assassins Creed will probably last you longer and if you enjoy it, you can pick up AC:Brotherhood for about £20 now. Where as if you go for Batman and you enjoy it, no reason why you wouldn't tbh you have to wait until October for the next one :smileyhappy:

edit: or as someone said get both. £17 for these two games is a steal

Re: week off thinking of getting a new game

I'd advise you to grab AC2.

Haven't played the first one, but got 2 this summer and it was awesome. It's long, fun, free roaming game, with good graphics (nothing compared to u2 or kz3 though) and you can spend too much time to unlock everything if you're into that stuff. Haven't played batman but ac2 rocked my world :smileytongue:

Re: week off thinking of getting a new game

Batman is brilliant. Only rented AC:2 for a few days and couldn't really get into it. Didn't really give it a fair chance to be fair but just didn't grab me. Can pick up both fairly cheap. AC2 will probably last you longer if you like that sort of thing.

Re: week off thinking of getting a new game

I have only just picked up Batman: AA this week and havn't started it yet so can't comment on playing it although for the price you can get it for now it seems well worth it as it is very highly rated.

AC2 I have played and even got the Platinum (only game I have actually felt the desire to do so), I picked up the GOTY edition for £10 back before christmas and absolutely loved it, enjoyed the story and thought the game play was much improved from the first even if there is still a few frustrating moments when Ezio doesn't quite do what you want when climbing or fighting. The best thing for me though was the amount of game time you will get from it with the two DLC sequences thrown in, even if you just play the story you will get a decent amount of play time from it.

As others have said if you can pick up both. If not I don't think you will be losing out with either choice.
