1080p is 1920x1080, your TV is 16:9 so there won't be any distortion. If you want to push it to its limits try googling the model number and something like 'optimum settings'.

The unscaled thing is for when it recieves sub-1080p signals. I assume it normally upscales those pictures to fill the screen, but it'd lose a bit of clarity in doing so.
If you set it to unscaled, I suppose the image would sit in the middle of the screen with a black border around it? It'd be pixel perfect, but it'd look a bit weird.
