When you use the HTML editor type <BR> instead of return it adds a return line.
The UK has had MASSIVE improvements since firmware 3.00,
The Video and photo uploader is not cheap to bug test and getting GOOGLE to argee the Access must have cost Sony a few pennies.
Facebook rebelled and killed the PS3 browser, so SCE lost the odd battle.
BBC HD Iplayer web portal Would not have been possible without Changes to the Web browser.
LoveFilm would not have arrived ether with out the work behind the scenes from Sony and Amazon.
3D BD, H264 level 5.1, and M4V over 4GB support was a god send all my OSX video conversions now work with out realtime conversion.
RF Headset from SCE (if you import from USA which uses the firmware features).
BT official keyboard support.
Selective Auto Download choices
No more Adverts downloaded via PS+.
Auto syncing trophies. ![]()
Auto Uploading save games to cloud storage ![]()
Music unlimted released to PS3.

The only website I want to visit with the PS3 browser is the SVT Play website. Similiar to the BBC iPlayer website, except it's for swedish television.
It used to work, some years ago, but then they raised the flash requirements to 10.1 back in late 2010, and since then it hasn't been working on a PS3.
I really hope we will see a flash 10.1 update for the browser in a future firmware.

WILL NEVER EVER EVER HAPPEN.
Adobe Stopped ALL FLASH developement for NON PC equipment ages ago.
SVT released A PS3 site and restricted the content to specific items only. If you require more content. they are the ones who need to change there developement platform budget... Your on the wrong forum for that SCEUK will have no controll over your broadcaster. As you say the BBC can do it. so can your TV provider. The BBC just released a Sports App to show a few live events so they realy are showing how crap your TV provider is...
(The app was not just released on PS3 Either. It was released on Smart Internet conntected HDTVs, BD players, and Tivo PVRs)

This is irrelevant, Adobe never developed a Flash Player for the PS3 to begin with. Sony licensed the portable Player code from Adobe, and made the PS3 port of the Flash Player on their own, and are responsible for updating it.

No, they didn't.

Not really, Sony are the ones maintaining and updating the PS3 browser, SVT have nothing to do with the PS3 browser at all. While this is a thread about the PS3 browser on the official European Playstation forum and very much related to the functions of the PS3 browser.

BBC also have an insanely larger budget to work with.

Off course it matters no developement means, NO LICENSE renews for new versions and all USE is then blocked and No new Versions are allowed. Sony never Coded any flash, It was a Direct port from NETFRONT coded buy a private company "Access". who got the license from Adobe. These license won't cover flash 10 on PS3 as it has new code differences. the license only covered Flash 9 as thats all adobe sold them. New browsers support Webkit and Mozzila Plugins now they don't build there own.
Thats what happens, When companies remove their products from release. SCE has since started coding the browser them selves, SCE would need a new agreement from Adobe for flash 10. Which is now blocked buy adobes very public statement.
Adobe is also considering dropping NPAPI for any security updates to flash plugins 10 and 11 with only supporting PPAPI code, So security updates on plugins would have to be PPAPI license code. which is only supported on google chrome. As you can expect non chrome browser developers are not happy about adobe and Chrome possible friendship.

Yes true, I got TVE confused with your country TV supplier.
Just like I keep forgetting which countries these PS3 IPTV sites that run in the PS3 browser from the PS3 XMB are from.
Ipla. ( yep even Poland )
AXN
Antenna3
TV3
ABC Iview
ITV player (uk)
40D (uk)
YLE
RTE Player (Ireland)
NZ ondemand ( Even New zealand with only a population of 4 Million )
Plus 7
Yep strange how all these run in the PS3 browser. Yet SVT won't... Did not think Finland would have a better TV service than sweden... but it looks like it does...
