I didn't notice at first, but when I made my PSN account on my PS3 I had a typo in my email. That email address doesn't exsist, and I've forgotten my password. Is there any way I can unlink my PS3 from that old account and relink it to this new one? I'm planning on getting a new PS3 and I'd rather not lose all my data.

No Pasword + no email = fail security check = Fail to get account back.
You need to know at least 1 of the passwords.
You have no way to PROVE who you are. location/address data is not enough to pass verification as those are available online and in phone book...

This happened to me, if the email address you mistakenly mistyped actually doesn't exist then you can go and create it then request a password change again and it will be sent to that email address. (the one you just made)
Hope this helps.
