Wait there are differences between DS3 controlls and BD remote.

im on a 40mb broadband connection with sky and have to say the video quality of this app is absolutely rubbish.at least the iplayer app supports hd, and adjusts to your connection speed

Well from other posters here it does seem to adjust the quality per connection. its just, Gone the oppersite direction for your connection than you wanted. 

Iplayer HD app Does not adjust automaticly because the content provided Is pre recorded. To adjust Iplayer HD you have to manualy select the quality in the options in the bottom of the screen.

This app has to adjust real time to avoid any buffering as if it buffers You MISS the LIVE event action theres no second chance when LIVE.  As those who watched via Tivo boxes found out when the app failed during the first Euro 2012 match.

Dam just remembered the F1 qualifying was today.

Hopefully Can test this live app tomorrow with the race...

F1 live feed - feed back

6 feeds.

• feed 1 = Race feed, Broken Picture, quality dropping, blocky and degraded. 
• feed 2 = Just a track map with driver locations on it, Fine
• feed 3 = On board cars, Perfectly fine PQ, just the feed did not start till a few laps in to the race. don't confuse the track side problems with on board cameras with the feed from BBC.   
• feed 4 = Exact same live video feed as feed 1 but  PQ fine this time, no errors, but Radio 5 audio meant I can't stand it. With there Adverts for their own radio content.  
• feed 5 = Pit lane and Timing feed. PQ fine.
• feed 6 = Live timing feed no real picture to talk about. 

No Buffering brakes during the feeds only at the switch of feeds, Even on the low quality feed 1.

The good news is that you can access the in game XMB!

If your connection speed or wireless signal is poor you will have problems. 

Live feeds been fine so far the highlight feeds keep saying content unavailable. Maybe my lower than usual speeds due BT wiring up my local exchange and installing new streetside cabinets at the moment. 

Functioning XMB is a bonus possibility of text chat room so you can chat about the live F1 and football etc with PSN friends.

Tested it. Works ok. But laggy and not HD, I'll stick with my sky box.

Tennis feeds, Feed back

 No Picture faults on any feeds, PQ fine. This might be because there are less feeds and As RED button is limited in bandwidth, the PQ of the fewer feeds will have more Kb/s free.

Or it could be the skirts are not short enough so less are watching than F1.
