Green Screen + Freeze Help Please................

I have a 40gb ps3 model using a HDMI running 1080i.

Everything works wonders except for last night when i tried to watch a blu-ray movie, It comes on, works for 30 seconds maybe longer and then the screen goes solid green and the sound cuts out. 

 

Nothing on the pad works either so i have to turn it off and back on.

 

I don't get it, games work fine and so do my downloaded movies? 

 

Theres gotta be a simple fix out there and I know ain't the only one theres posts all over google but no solutions so i figured the official playstation forums could, Help please & thanks.

Try ringing sony in the morning, they should be able to give you a diagnosis, and if its in warranty and is broke will send you one for free :smileyhappy:

This has just happened to me. Have you found out the problem or a fix.......I dunno what to do
