Music not working

Hi I'm confused I put music onto my ps3 through a usb but only some of it plays for the rest it says data type not supported but the music that does play and the music that doesn't play is both mp3 does anybody know what to do?

Get an application that can change the meta data tags "version" of the Music files. 

 version 2.3 rings a bell..

YouTube PS3 companion app HD video, NA 1.04/EU 1.00 720p HD Video
( Remote access controll usage, No DS3 used... )
