I got a flyer from local mart and thought about going to pick up sony 3d led tv tomorrow... but apparently it doesnt come up with any exstra?? do i look like sucker enough to cough up extra 300 for geek line eyewear while people other side of pond get free glasses and alice in 3d? is this really the rough reality or is sony europe running some free starter pack campaign behind scenes??

You'll want Motorstorm 3D rift, Super Stardust HD and WipeoutHD.

Motorstorm Apocalypse coming soon is the big one for 3D. I've tried it and it is stunning in 3D.

thanks. yeah, i need to re-buy the rift in 3d form... unfair, but theres no avoiding that. SSHD will hopefully get its appeal refreshed as me and mate go into new dimension trying to reclaim top 3 position in split coop we once possessed and ill defenety reignate some rocket engines in wipeout for heightened sense of epilepsy. These are all first patch of 3d titles... im wondering if there came out something great after these? i read from box that my pop trilogy is 3d so it should keep me captivated for a while... how about mag? was there suppose to be 3d update? did it came out yet? or am i just mixing up with move? also is ridge racer worth of a cheap spin?

MAG was patched for Move but not 3D I'm afraid.

Yeah the POP games look great in 3D too, I'm currently playing through them. They're more depth over 'pop effect' but still look great. Other games to consider are Black Ops and Avatar.

GT5 is 3D ready as well, had a go on it at Xmas on my dads new telly.  Takes a bit of getting used to, but its not too bad.  I think Eyepet was patched as well, so if you have kids (or are one yourself!) you could give that a go.

Thanx guys for reminding. I just put avatar on order... not expecting much of it put theres not too many 3D games to go around, besides it was dirt cheap. GT5 may have to wait a bit, im afraid, cause it requires a proper seat, like playseat to enjoy fullest, and my bankbook is not ready for that...yet

hey fski, have u personally tried avatar on bravia? cause it arrived today and doesnt seem to work out of box like other 3d games. On setup theres a load of choiges for different 3d techs but as far as i can tell none of 'em is compatible with bravia... could it be this game is pre-standard?
