Can anyone help me get some sound from my setup.. i have a Bravia 3d (smart) and a sony DAV-DZ280 dvd/home theatre, which together work ok.. but i can't get nothing from my ps3, or my cable.. (virgin hd), i bought the DAV about 2 years ago, and 'thought' that for £250 it would suit my needs, and all was well till i got the Bravia tv.. now i cannot use it (for gaming), strangely this DAV does Not have a optical output, just 1 hd and 1 scart, not sure (clueless) about the other jacks, but i think there is some... as i said i used to get 'sound' from a old tv, but via the scart, so whether that meant it was 'real' dolby 5.1 or just the sound coming from the speakers ?... i was kinda gobsmacked when i learned i didn't have optical on this system, But till recently accepted it... i am at a loss and would Really appreciate any input, thanks.

Thanks for the reply and helpful link. Cannot believe that i will need to buy another system because sony didn't include optical jack in mine, I know the DAV isn't high end by any means But i believed prety much All recent equiptment came with this basic feature. Sorry for the rant etc... Again thank you for your help.
