I just bought and downloaded  BF3 the ultimate shortcut bundle.

but it does not seem to be unlocking everthing.

Everytime i load bf3 it keeps telling me i have unlocked different parts of the pack,

then when i enter my soldier - customise, it tllls me i have unlocked some more packs

but when i enter items they are still showing as locked on the ones i had not yet unlocked.

please help !

me to, random packs unlocked on each login and then tells me the kit is still locked. Not happy, Come on DICE sort it out.

Try reinstalling the patch through the download list on PlayStation Store. Open it and hit download and see if a reinstallation fixes it.

Also, there may be instructions on the store detailing specific instructions as to how to activate it.

Is true is true, I buy it and I get the guns locked .... maybe it has problems?

From the sound of things there seems to be a problem with it somewhere. Are you all on the latest version of the game? Have you tried my suggestion?

Same issue here, i reinstalled i like 20 times, nothing working...weapons still locked....this is a total waste of time....!!!

We have the same issue, still it doesn't work. Did somebody solve the problem? How is your status ? If there is a solution please post it, thanks

I've just come off the phone to PSN support and  they have told me they cannot refund me. I will get a call back sometime in the next week. What irritates me the most is that having installed the shortcut weapons that were previously unlocked are now locked. I cannot understand how Sony are allowing this content to still be sold when there is apparently a known issue with it. I've also been in touch with EA:

So DO NOT PURCHASE this bundle you are wasting your money. I've been ripped off and dont want anyone else to be ripped off. 

and finally just to be clear you only get the weapons unlocked none of the attachments or optics are included you still have to level up to unlock them.

I bought this ultimate package on the back of the advert stating" ALL Weapons AND KIT"

the following is a list of

WHAT YOU WONT GET

L85A2,  MK3A1,  SAIGA12K ,USAS12 ,P90 ,PDW-R ,AS VAL,  M9SUPP ,MP443 , AND SUPP ,G19 ,G19SUPP, .44MAGNUM,  .44MAG SCOPED, M26DART ,M26FRAG ,M26SLUG ,G18, QBB-95 ,MG36, QBU-88 ,L96, 

ALSO  as the post above  you will not get any scopes and extension to these guns

I think that the advertisers have done some very creative writing in stating that all weapons and kit will be released when you buy the ultimate package because its just not true otherwise if i knew it wasnt ALL KIT AND WEAPONS i certainly wouldnt have paid £32

Got a call back from PSN today what a surprise. Only to be told EA must authorise the refund. So I jump through the hoops and contact EA via email as instructed by the PSN customer support guy  and get this charming response:

I understand your curiosity to play Battlefield 3, I assure you my support to get this error resolved. I have reviewed your Email and I understand that you wants refund against your purchase of Battlefield 3 Shortcut bundle pack.

Please note that as you purchase the pack from the PSN Store they are only authorize to provide you the refund. Please also take care that refund can only be processed with in the 14 days of the purchase as per our policy. PSN store have their own polices so please contact them for the further assistance.

I'm sticking the PS3 on ebay and EA are'nt getting a penny off me again. Daylight Robbery thats what it is. It beggers belief that EA would allow themselves to be portrayed in such a way they might as well get an official endorsement from the fonejacker for all the helpings they've been!
