Hey there,

I  Back up my PS3 often every week and this is more of a question / advice than asking for specific help but if my PS3 ever broke and i had no choice but to get a new PS3 from Sony would the Back up data from my old PS3 work with the new one?

Or would i have to contact Sony and arrange something with them?

Hi There,

Yes,  as long as you use the backup facility and it completes as intended you should be able to back it up onto a replacement system.
