Its Nothing To Do With The Disc, Or The System, DICE Admit That They Have An Unsuspicious File In The Patches They Bring out And Because They Cant Find It,We'll Keep On Getting Freezes.

I Got The Freeze Today By Getting Killed By M18 Claymore Because It Happens When Its At The Loading Screen Where It Says Loading[] And It Freezes And It Freezes While In A Match.

DICE Have Not Warned Us That This May Result In System Damage

Thank you, i did read some forums that said it was Battlefield 3 itself but never anything from DICE or EA themselves. Also i would not doubt at all that this would cause system damage. Id really hate to have to buy a new PS3 just because i wanted to play the game i paid for...but as you said it does freeze at the loading screen and for me at any point in time during a match whether its after i get killed or just simply running it will freeze. I would be happy if they just reverted BF3 back to a patch that actually worked, although that wont happen cause im sure many people would be upset, but i just wanna play the game and not f**k up my PS3 in the process! Again ty for this info!

I was also wondering if you know if this is PS3 only or if it affects all Platforms for BF3?

Hi there my ps3 system is doing exactly the same as yours i think myself it is down to dice or the ps3 console cant handle the pace of the game as for instance bad company 1-2 use to do the same thing and freeze all the time but when i play fifa or black ops its fine and thats on multi player aswell so its down to dice and sony to come up with solution ...,,. Ive bought 3 ps3 in 2 years due to this ,,,,,, its sony way of saying ty lol

I have thesame problem that BF3 sometimes freezes , but i have the idea that the ps3 can't handle BF3. It shocks and doesn't run smooth. Call of Duty and other games like Fifa and Gta work fine and never freeze.

it can't be a system problem, the PS3 can definitely handle the game, how can xbox handle it and ps3 cant? i'm pretty confident it's a batch of bad discs. who here has limited edition? my friends that don't have limited edition don't have this problem, and those that do have it more or less.

Hey! Mine keeps freezing almost every other game right after the game ends too. glad to find it outs something with bf3 and not my system...i was getting worried! I have the LIMITED EDITION one too.

I did all that stuff too and my battlefield 3 premium is in mint condition and it freezes regardless of weather im playing it online or story mode

my ps3 freezes even while playing battlefield3 single player!! can anybofy tell me why this happens??
