Blu ray movie pausing and going to a screen saver

When im watching a blu ray movie and pause the play back, i can restart the film soon afterwards without any problem but if i am gone for more than a few minutes the play back goes to a screen saver and all i can do is restart the disk from the beginning.

 

Is there anyway to restart the playback from the same point

I tried cleaning the disk and still it wouldn't play. managed to play another disk without problem and then I tried the pausing disk again and it worked correctly without any difficulty so i really don't know what caused it

If its a bluray made by universal when it goes into screensaver mode, try pressing 'X' instead of start/pause. If thats any help..
